Αναστασία Παπανικολάου

My name is Anastasia Papanikolaou, and I am currently serving as a Respiratory Medicine Resident at the University Hospital of Ioannina, Greece. I obtained my Medical Degree from the School of Medicine at the University of Ioannina in 2021 and am presently pursuing a Master of Science in Respiratory Failure and Mechanical Ventilation at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I began my professional medical career as a General Practice/Family Medicine Resident, first at the General Hospital of Grevena (2021–2022) and subsequently at the University Hospital of Ioannina (2022–2024). Since 2024, I have been specializing in respiratory medicine. In addition, I am certified as an Immediate Life Support (ILS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider by the European Resuscitation Council. I hold a valid medical license issued by the Panhellenic Medical Association (license number 5796). My research involvement includes participation in multiple Phase III and IV clinical trials, primarily as a Sub-Investigator in the fields of Respiratory and Dermatological medicine, with focus areas such as Asthma, COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease, Severe Eosinophilic Asthma, and Atopic Dermatitis. Furthermore, I have completed GCP (Good Clinical Practice) training provided by The Global Health Network, certified on December 11, 2024. I am committed to continuous learning and advancing in clinical research and respiratory care.
